The Executive Director was selected by the NGO Council as a delegate to the National Constitutional Conference representing the Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) constituency. He had followed the Constitutional Review Process since 1992 and he was an active participant in the Consultative Constitutional Review Forums held at Bomas of Kenya, and at Safari Park, attending regular meetings at Ufungamano House and later got involved in the provision of Advocacy and dissemination of Civic Education in Nyanza and Western Region under our organization which was an accredited provider.

While attending various constitutional review forums, he realized that although there was enthusiasm from Kenyans following a wind of change blowing across the country, there was an information vacuum. He decided to step in and fill the gaps and dots...of illiteracy in his first book "THE PEOPLE, THE CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW AND THE GOVERNMENT in 1999."

He was eventually elected a delegate to the National Constitutional Conference (NCC) and elected the convener (chairman) of one of the thirteen Technical Working Committee-- Preamble, Sovereignty of the people, Supremacy of the Constitution, The republic and national values, goals and principles" and a member of the NCC Steering Committee.

Since the Executive Director left Bomas he has written two books of the review process:  THE KENYAN RENAISSANCE 2003, and after the Constitutional Conference he wrote  THE KENYAN SECOND LIBERATION 2005.
